Project background

A CP-related enquiry usually arrives with a defined protected structure, installation environment and current-output requirement, while the anode form, coating direction and connection details still need to be clarified.

Key technical questions

  • Is the application soil, seawater, brackish water, concrete, tank bottom, pipeline, marine structure or an industrial asset?
  • What design current, environmental resistivity, design life target and installation method are specified by the CP designer?
  • Which anode form is preferred: ribbon, wire, rod, tubular, disc or plate?
  • What cable connection, sealing, test documentation and packaging requirements are needed?

TJNE review logic

TJNE reviews the anode as a project-specific auxiliary component rather than a generic consumable. Geometry, coating system, electrical connection and documentation need to match the CP design assumptions.

TJNE supply scope

  • MMO auxiliary anodes and related electrode components.
  • Customized geometry, coating direction and cable connection according to project requirements.
  • Technical datasheets and inspection documentation for supplier qualification.
  • Full CP system design or field commissioning is not included unless a separate cooperation scope is defined.

Project outcome

The CP designer or integrator receives a cleaner anode configuration and a component supply interface that can be incorporated into the overall cathodic protection design.

Project note: Configuration and supply scope are reviewed according to operating conditions, process targets and project interface requirements.
